Having got a call from Jon Brown a Local fisherman and Guide/boatman of Branta Cruises of the news of a Snowy owl on the west end of the island I dropped tools at a job in Blakeney shot over to Brancaster Staithe and met Jon with his boat at the harbour who kindly came back from his fishing duties to pick me up. The next hour or two I spent on my own about a hundred or so meters away from this awsome arctic bird photographing it and watching it being mobbed by a number of Red Kites. It spent the rest of the day sat on the northern edge of Norton Creake before flying west at dusk.
