Rare and Unusual Birds of Scolt Head
Eastern or Siberian Common Tern Sterna hirundo ssp longipennis
The tern left of the middle, with Sandwich Common and Little Terns. This is not conclusive due to the difficulty in identification, I have seen many on the breeding grounds in Siberia and this bird present on Scolt Head in both the spring and autumn of 2015 looks like a very good candidate and is still under review by the BBRC
